The theme of the lesson: A day in my life

Objectives of the lesson:

Educational: To introduce pupils with new theme, talking about domestic routine: times, activities, meals.

Developing: To develop pupils' listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing skills and lexical habits in the process of learning English lesson.

Bringing up: to develop the interest to English language, to bring up to distribute their every time in the life.

The type: Presentation lesson

The methods of teaching: pair work, question - answer, vocabulary.

Equipment: A presentation on Power Point, interactive board, pictures, cards

Subjects' relation: Music, Kazakh, Russian languages

The procedure of the lesson.

I. Organization moment.

a) Greeting

Teacher: Good morning, pupils!

Pupils: Good morning, good morning!

Good morning, to you!

Good morning, good morning!

We are glad to see you!

b) Talking with the pupil on duty.

- Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent today?

-What is the date today?

-What day is it today?

-What is the weather like today?

c) Warm - up

Breakfast in the morning Supper in the evening

Dinner in the day When the sky is red

Tea comes after dinner Then the day is over

Then it's time to play And we go to bed

T.: What do you think , what is this poem about? What kind of meals are named? Yes, you are right. (breakfast, dinner, supper, go to bed)

IV. Presentation of the new material.

</<font face="Times New Roman, serif">Today we have an unusual lesson because we have guests. Open your books and copy books.The theme of the lesson is " A day in my life". We' ll speak about domestic routine: times, activities, meals such as "to have breakfast, supper, lunch, dinner, lessons", "to go to school", "to go home", "to go to bed", "to get up". So, let's learn the new words.

Omar's day.

My name is Omar and I'm eleven. I come from Kazakhstan but I live in London.I go to school. I get up at half past seven in the morning and I have breakfast at eight o'clock. We learn English,French, Mathematics Science,History, Geography,Art, Computer Studies and Home Economics. I like Maths and English but I don't like History. Lunch is at one o'clock. I have lunch at school. In the afternoon we have lessons or sport . School finishes at a quarter to three. I go home . Before supper I read or play with my English friends. We have supper at seven o'clock and then I do my homework or watch TV.I go to bed at ten o'clock.

So, pupils let's sing a karaoke song about daily routines.
